COCC hosts several popular running race events each year that draw participants from surrounding areas to campus, and have had a strong tradition in the Bend community for over 25 years. They can be competitive or recreational, depending on your interest level.
Turkey Trot & Toddler Trot - Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Mazama Gym
10 a.m. - Toddler Trot
10:30 a.m. - Turkey Trot 5k
The 4th Annual Toddler Trot is FREE and open to any toddlers 5 and younger. Register day-of onsite.
The 26th Annual Turkey Trot 5k Run/Walk occurs around COCC's Bend Campus and includes a free T-shirt, food, & prizes.
FREE FOR ALL COCC STUDENTS. Cost for community members is $15 (plus online processing fees), or $20 cash or check in-person during race day registration. We encourage participants to register online in advance.
All proceeds go to the COCC Foundation for student scholarships and fiscal support for college programs.
Jungle Run - Date for 2026 TBD
The 29th Annual COCC Jungle Run/Walk features a 4-mile or 2-mile trail course with single-track trails, mud bogs, steep climbs, and obstacles. Enjoy a fun, challenging race with prizes, food, and a free t-shirt. Spot a fake snake on the course to win an extra prize (real snakes not included)!

Storm the Stairs - Date for 2026 TBD
The 29th Annual COCC Storm the Stairs run is stair-filled run across COCC's scenic hillside Bend campus, including through buildings. Open to all skill-levels, this is a great way to explore campus, win a prize, and get a free T-shirt and food.
