Intramural Sports


Intramural (IM) sports provide an inclusive, low-pressure way for students, staff, and community members to connect, stay active, and build friendships. Open to all skill-levels, these leagues and clubs offer opportunities to enjoy and learn new sports while exploring all that the COCC athletic department has to offer.

IM Volleyball League (Fall, Winter, Spring)

Our co-ed Intramural Volleyball league is FREE for students, faculty, and staff on Wednesday evenings in Mazama Gymnasium. OSU-Cascades Students can complete paperwork to waive participation fee.  Non-student community members pay $50 per term.  Teams of 4 must have at least 2 women. 

  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. One member from each team registers to secure their team's spot.  All team members must also register.  Players must pay and complete the liability waiver before playing.  
  • Intermediate League games:  6 - 8pm (non-competitive and fun)
    Advanced League games:  8 -
    10pm
    (competitive and fun)
  • For Winter Term open-play volleyball, please come to Mazama Gym Thursdays from 6:30-8:30pm (except during finals week).

IM Basketball League (Fall, Winter)

This co-ed league is often the highest level of competitive basketball in Bend.  Intramural Basketball league is FREE for students, faculty, and staff Monday nights from 6pm - 10pm during Fall and Winter terms in the Mazama Gymnasium. Non-student community members pay $60 per term.  

  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. One member from each team must register to secure a team's spot in the league. All team members must register.  Players must pay and complete the waiver before playing.

Pickleball Group (Year-Round)

Open-gym, community-led pickleball gym time on Monday/Wednesday from 9-11am and Fridays from 2:30-5:15pm. Open to student, staff, and community members of all skill levels.

Women's Basketball Open Gym (Fall, Winter, Spring)

Mazama Gym can be reserved for a FREE women's only open gym time for students and community members at preferred times. If you have a group of women that want to play at a different time, please contact us!

Women's Soccer  (Fall, Winter, Spring)

We're growing our Women's Soccer group - join us!  The Mazama Field and Gymnasium are reserved Fall, Winter & Spring at preferred times by the students in the club for practices and pick-up play.

Tennis Group (Fall, Spring)

Join the co-ed Tennis Group and play with other students. The COCC Tennis Courts are reserved at preferred times by the students in the Group and is subject to change based on student schedules.

Indoor Soccer (Fall, Winter, Spring)

Co-ed semi-organized pickup games are FREE for students, faculty, and staff of all abilities.  Indoor Soccer takes place in Mazama Gymnasium on Tuesdays from 6-8p.m.

Student vs. Staff Dodgeball Game (Fall)

As a part of our Stress-Free Finals Week, we host a students vs. staff dodgeball game in Mazama Gymnasium. If there's a particular instructor or employee that you want to throw dodgeballs at, please encourage them to register!
