Tuition
Tuition at COCC is based upon your residency and the number of credits you take. Fees can be assessed per credit, per term, or based on a deadline. Please see the Tuition and Fees Chart for cost per credit load.
Residency
Review COCC's Residency Policy to determine your tuition rate. Note that courses with unusually high costs may have an additional fee per credit.

Standard Fees
Effective starting Summer term 2025.
Fee | Rate | Description |
Student Activities | $1.50 per credit | Supports student government, staffing, transportation, student professional development, events, and the food bank. Applies to all courses. |
Green Energy | $0.25 per credit | Covers renewable energy for the campus, sustainability projects, and staff support. Applies to all courses. |
Technology | $18.50 per credit | Supports staffing, classroom technology, computer labs, software, and online services. Applies to all courses. |
Course Specific Fees
Certain programs may have additional fees (course fee changes go into effect in Fall 2023). This is not a comprehensive list of these fees, however the fees listed below are the most common. Please review the fees section when registering for a course.

Mazama Gym |
$20 per term |
Allows the Mazama facility to remain open for student during non-class times. Maintenance and repair of gym equipment. Applies to students taking an HHPA activity class or those who want to use the gym facilities. |
Inclusive Access eBook Fee |
Varies |
Covers the cost of required digital course materials for select classes. Learn more about the Inclusive Access and the opt-out option on the Digital Course Materials webpage. |
Digital Arts Charge/Art Supplies Fee |
Varies |
One or both of these fees may apply to certain art courses which require course specific art materials or digital programs |
Late Fees
Late registration fee: | $30 beginning third week of classes; $50 beginning finals week |

Late payment fees: | $30 per week, up to three weeks or $90 maximum per term |
Tuition Waiver for Adults who are 65+
Students 65 years of age and older may be eligible for a tuition waiver. Review the 65+ Tuition Waiver Form/Policy to see if you can benefit and learn how to apply.
Application Fee Waiver
Students who are unable to pay the $25 application fee for admission to COCC may be eligible for the Application Fee Waiver.
If you are currently in high school, you may be eligible for a waiver through the National Association for College Admissions Counseling. Please work with your high school counselor to determine if you are eligible.
