Academic Advising
COCC will be closed for the winter holidays December 23 – 27, 2024 & January 1, 2025. Please see below for important information:
ADVISING
- New First Time, Returning After Absence and New Transfer Students: To schedule an in-person appointment, please schedule an appointment online. The deadline to receive advising for winter term is Thursday, January 2nd.
- Continuing Students: We will have drop-in appointments available on the following dates and times. No appointment required; first come, first serve basis. Drop-in advising can be done over the phone or in person. Please call 541-383-7200 on the day of drop-in advising to speak to an advisor.
- Monday, December 30 – Bend Campus (Cascades Hall 240A), 9am- 4:30pm.
- Tuesday, December 31 – Bend Campus (Cascades Hall 240A), 9am- 4:30pm.
- Wednesday, January 1 – College Closed
- Friday, January 3– Bend Campus (Cascades Hall 240A), 9am- 4:30pm
PLACEMENT
- If you have not already done so, please complete the Directed Self Placement (DSP). If you are required to take a skill-based assessment, please email placement@cocc.edu to request instructions for the math and/or writing assessments. Placement requests will be checked periodically throughout the holiday closure.
Advising appointments are currently available in person and remotely.
