CAMPUS PARKING
General Information
Parking at COCC is regulated and enforced by the Campus Safety Department, in partnership with the Department of Motor Vehicles. All persons driving or parking on college property are required to comply with all Oregon State Traffic Laws and COCC Parking and Traffic Regulations. By entering COCC property, drivers are acknowledging awareness of these laws and regulations, and understand that violations are subject to enforcement. Not all parking regulations are posted on campus; however, all vehicles are subject to enforcement. Under Oregon Revised Statute 341.300, Campus Safety Specialists have the authority to issue citations and/or impound vehicles, at the vehicle owner's expense. COCC parking is available seven days a week, between the hours of 6 AM and 10 PM. Vehicles parked on-campus after-hours without permission will receive a citation and may be towed.
Parking Permits
Most COCC parking lots require vehicles to display COCC parking permits. Parking permits are not required on any city street, such as NW College Way. In lots which are marked as requiring permits, permits must be displayed seven days a week, between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM. Staff parking lots are reserved at all times for vehicles displaying staff parking permits. Parking permits are not required on the Redmond, Madras and Prineville Campuses.
Campus visitors may park in the D1, D3, D4, G1, G3, G4, or H2 lots without displaying a campus parking permit. Additionally, no parking permit is required to park on any city street. Visitors who wish to park in other locations on campus, must be parked in a marked visitor space, or display a temporary visitor pass provided by the college department being visited.

Student Parking
All students who park in permit-required areas must register their vehicles and display a COCC parking permit from the rearview mirror or dashboard of their vehicle. Student permits for the current academic year are available to pick up on the Bend Campus in the Boyle Education Welcome Center. Parking permits are not required on the Redmond, Madras, or Prineville campuses.
Please be sure to have your license plate number with you.
Disabled Parking
Vehicles displaying a valid, state-issued disabled parking placard, may park in any campus parking lot. These vehicles are not permitted to park in red/yellow zones, service vehicle spaces, loading zones, nor emergency vehicle only areas.
Carpool Permits
Reserved carpool parking spaces are available for anyone who registers with the carpool program. When parked in a designated carpool space, the vehicle must display a current COCC parking permit, and at least two people must arrive in the car, at the time it is parked. Please contact Campus Safety for more information on carpool permits.
Staff & Faculty Parking
Staff and faculty vehicles must display current COCC staff parking permits at all times. Staff parking lots are reserved at all times for vehicles displaying staff parking permits.
