Zoom
Zoom is a meeting platform used to hold synchronous virtual meetings, office hours, and remote courses. It supports screen sharing, recording, annotation, reactions and polling, live chat, and whiteboard tools, as well as security and privacy controls to keep meetings secure and safe.
Zoom is integrated into Canvas, but is most commonly used directly through their desktop and mobile apps.

Zoom is available at no cost to COCC faculty and students.
COCC's Zoom license is supported through a consorial licence held by the Oregon Community College Distance Learning Association.

Zoom can be used through a web-browser, Windows and Mac desktop applications, and on mobile devices.

Faculty may request a Pro account by contacting eLearning.
Students do not need a Zoom account to participate in Zoom meetings, but may choose to create a free account with their cocc.edu email address at https://cocc.zoom.us
