Sociology students at COCC work closely with their advisor to develop transfer plans based on their degree and career goals. Students who complete their Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree at COCC and then complete a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Sociology are prepared to launch careers in a wide variety of fields. Graduates with bachelor’s and graduate degrees in Sociology are qualified for careers in government, nonprofit organizations, social work, public policy, education, and more.
