Anthropology students at COCC work closely with their adviser to develop transfer plans based on their degree and career goals. With four distinct subfields, including archaeology, biological anthropology, cultural anthropology and linguistics, students can pursue a wide variety of academic options and professional paths. At COCC, students interested in a bachelor’s degree in anthropology should complete the Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree. Transfer options in Oregon include anthropology at University of Oregon and Oregon State University, as well as social science at OSU-Cascades.
