There are many resources available that COCC student veterans are encouraged to access. There are also additional local resources specifically for those who are serving, or have served, in the military.
- Emergency Funds and Services
COCC Student Relief Fund
COCC Student Relief Fund is available to support students with unexpected emergency expenses that might impact the student's success at COCC. Funding is limited and based on availability. - Veterans Benefits
Veterans have earned certain benefits as a result of their military service. Such benefits are available only to those who apply for them. Based on the county of residency or tribal affiliation, the following branches provide free assistance to veterans, their dependents and survivors in obtaining these benefits.

Multiple tribal governments in Oregon have established veteran service offices with Tribal Veteran Representatives (TVRs) who are trained and certified through ODVA. The linked webpage will provide specific contacts. - Housing
COCC's Bend campus has a residence hall for on-campus housing. COCC also provides information to help find off-campus housing.
Central Oregon Veterans Organization (COVO)
Supports veterans looking for housing assistance, including application, deposit and rental help, and provides basic necessities to homeless veterans.
