Giving to the COCC Foundation
Thank you for considering a gift to the Central Oregon Community College Foundation. There are several ways to give, all of which make a great impact.
An unrestricted gift is the most valuable to the Foundation and is allocated where the need is the greatest. Scholarships also remain a top funding priority for the Foundation.

Annual and Endowment Giving
Please consider changing lives by giving to the COCC Foundation. Scholarships have an effect that resonates through several generations; your donation not only changes the scholarship recipient, but the future population of Central Oregon. Read how donations change the lives of students.
COCC Foundation's annual giving program focuses on scholarships, which are awarded on the basis of need and demonstrated promise. Unrestricted gifts to the COCC Foundation are allocated where the need is the greatest. The COCC Foundation relies on private financial support to enhance the value of our community college to students, local citizens and businesses. Annual funds are raised through the Foundations signature Taste of the Town and Meal of the Year events. Individual and corporate giving occurs throughout the year.
Endowments provide ongoing benefits for the COCC Foundation by earning investment returns while keeping the core principal intact to fund future years of scholarships or other donor-established purposes. Endowments are perpetual, protected and personal. COCC Foundation endowments are managed by Commonfund. Additional oversight is provided by the Board approved Investment Policy Statement and by finance and investment professionals on the Finance Committee.

Stock Donations
The Central Oregon Community College Foundation has the ability to accept stock donations. The concept is to donate highly appreciated shares directly to the COCC Foundation. Shares are transferred from the donor and then sold in the COCC Foundation account.
Please provide the account information listed on the below stock transfer instructions sheet to your financial institution along with a signed letter of instruction, and you can easily donate stock to the COCC Foundation. Please be sure to request your name and contact information be included in your instructions, so that we may properly acknowledge and receipt your gift.

To properly track the transfer, please advise the COCC Foundation at the time of the transfer and we'll follow up with the broker to ensure a timely written confirmation of your gift. Thank you for your generous support!
Planned Giving
In all planned giving arrangements, the interests of the donor come before those of the COCC Foundation. We treat information connected with any planned giving arrangement with the strictest of confidentiality.
