President's Scholarship Celebration

Each year the College and COCC Foundation celebrates the gift of higher education by honoring our scholarship donors and current scholarship recipients at the President's Scholarship Celebration. Scholarship donors and their recipients often meet for the first time and have an opportunity over breakfast to get to know each other.

The Central Oregon Community College Foundation is proud to honor Dr. Ronald and Mary Carver as the 2026 President’s Scholarship Celebration Award Recipients. COCC Foundation scholarships are life-changing to hundreds of students annually. It is an honor to recognize those who’ve significantly supported scholarships over many years.

Ronald and Mary Carver, who moved to Bend 52 years ago have witnessed its remarkable growth while recognizing Central Oregon Community College as a constant in the community. Each with distinguished careers in healthcare, they have dedicated their lives to caring for others. With over 29 years of consecutive scholarship support, the Carvers have helped dozens of students pursue their educational goals. Their generosity reflects a deep belief in education and Central Oregon’s bright future.
