Welcome to Central Oregon Community College! Whether you are beginning your academic journey, transferring from another institution, or returning to COCC after a break, we’re glad you’re here. As Vice-President of People & Technology, I am responsible for Information Technology Services and Human Resources and am committed to ensuring you have the technology, support, and resources you need to succeed — both in your studies and in your professional experience with the college. Our goal is to provide reliable systems and services, responsive support, and a welcoming environment that supports your success and well-being at COCC.

At COCC, both Information Technology Services (ITS) and Human Resources (HR) play essential roles in supporting students, faculty, and staff:

Information Technology Services (ITS) provides the technology infrastructure and support that keeps COCC connected and running. This includes secure campus networks, computer labs, campus Wi-Fi access, email and authentication systems, learning platforms like Canvas, and support for printing and software tools. ITS staff are dedicated to helping you navigate technology needs so you can stay focused on your learning and work without disruption.

Whether you need assistance with account access, device support, or troubleshooting technical issues, ITS offers help through multiple channels, including the ITS HelpDesk and in-person support in campus labs. Their work behind the scenes ensures technology is a dependable partner in your COCC experience.

Human Resources (HR) supports the COCC community by managing services that relate to employment, workforce development, and the overall well-being of employees. The HR team provides guidance and resources for recruitment and hiring, employee benefits (such as health, wellness programs, and retirement), professional development, payroll support, and policies that promote equity and inclusion. They partner with departments across the college to build a talented, diverse workforce and foster a respectful and supportive work environment.

If you have questions about technology services, employment, benefits, or any of the support offered by ITS or HR, please contact the respective departments or explore the resources listed on this page. Again, welcome to COCC — go Bobcats!
