Adding Classes

  • Online Registration: You may register online up to 7 a.m. on the first day of class.
  • After Classes Start: Instructor approval is required to add a course. Approvals are valid for two business days. Once approved, you can add your class:
      • Online through your Bobcat Web Account
      • In person at any Admissions & Records Office
      • By phone: 541-383-7500

Late Registration Fees:

  • $30 for adding a class after week 2 of the term
  • $50 after final grade rosters have been printed

Auditing Classes

  • Students may audit classes to participate without earning credit.
  • No prerequisites are required, but full participation is expected.
  • Online: Up to 7 a.m. on the first day of the term

Dropping Classes

Important: Simply not attending class does not count as a drop. Students must drop by deadlines to avoid tuition/fees and unwanted grades. For more information please see the Attendance Requirement page

Notes:

  • Instructors cannot drop students; the student must request the drop.
  • Instructor approval must be obtained before the published drop deadline.

Short-Term Courses

How to Drop:

Refunds

  • Eligible refunds are processed within 3 weeks.
  • Choose your refund method online via Bobcat Web.
  • Any COCC debts are deducted from your refund first.
  • Refunds are per course: Adding and dropping courses after the refund period may result in full charges for new classes, with no refund for dropped courses.
