Megan Michell, BSN, RN

COCC’s Nursing Assistant program administrator, Megan is a former COCC Nursing faculty member who first joined COCC in 2014.
Her teaching experience also includes clinical instruction for the University of Colorado Denver’s School of Nursing. Megan worked on Medical/Surgical units at both St. Charles Health System and the VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System. She also spent time working in geriatric acute medicine at the University of Colorado Hospital.
Her education includes earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Utah and a Master’s in Nursing Education from Oregon Health and Science University, plus a bachelor’s in watershed science and a master’s in ecology, both from Utah State University. Areas of expertise include Nursing Assistant education and administration, community health, and climate change impacts on health.
