Vice President for Finance and Operations
Central Oregon Community College is seeking an innovative and collaborative leader to join its leadership team as Vice President for Finance and Operations (VPFO). This is an exciting opportunity to help guide the future of a growing and mission-driven college that serves as a vital educational and economic resource for Central Oregon.
Reporting directly to the President, the VPFO will lead collegewide financial planning and operational strategy for the Fiscal Services and Campus Services (facilities, grounds, maintenance and custodial) teams, while partnering across the institution to foster student success and organizational excellence. We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking professional who embraces collaboration, values transparency, and is committed to building a strong and sustainable future for the College and the communities it serves.

About Central Oregon Community College and our Students
Located in the heart of Oregon’s destination outdoor recreation community, COCC’s service region spans 10,000 square miles. COCC’s main campus is located in Bend, a city known for its recreational opportunities, emerging cultural scene, and vibrant downtown. The College has three branch campuses in the communities of Redmond, Madras and Prineville, each of who provide specialty programs to serve their growing communities.
COCC is a comprehensive community college, offering transfer and career and technical education programs, adult basic skills, English Language Learning, community education, business development and high school programs. Across these programs, COCC serves more than 11,000 students annually, with approximately 80% of credit students coming from the COCC service district.

The VPFO requires that applicants hold the following minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Seven (7) years of increasingly responsible multi-fund management, senior-level leadership experience, including responsibility for fiscal control and other general management functions.
- Seven (7) years of leadership in the development, analysis, and implementation of effective and fiscally sustainable budget and administrative/operational strategies.
