With a comprehensive approach to graphic design, this one-year certificate covers primary design principles (including color, composition, and typography), digital photography, layout concepts, vector graphics, and strategic branding. Students will learn practices, methods, and industry vocabulary to work with the latest technology (using pen tablets among other tools), leading to a final capstone project and develop a cohesive portfolio to use in gaining employment or transfer. A flexible, asynchronous program design means that students can take classes in-person or online.
