Classified employee nominations will be submitted to the Classified Association Executive
Team, by January 15. The Executive Team will then meet prior to January 15. The Executive
Team will then meet prior to February 1 and confirm that the employee(s) have at least
15 years of service and that granting Emeritus status would have no negative impact
on the reputation of the institution.
The CACOCC President will then submit the nomination to the college president for
review and approval. the CACOCC President will complete the Board resolution for the
March Board of Directors' meeting on behalf of the College president.
Candidates are notified in writing or by email of the committee’s recommendation,
and of the date and time of the respective Board meeting, which they are welcome to
attend.
