Call for Proposals

Share your knowledge, skills, and expertise!

You are invited to submit a session proposal for this year's Student Success & Retention Conference. Drawing from the extensive knowledge and experience of the faculty and staff at Oregon’s public and private colleges and universities, the conference presents an excellent opportunity to share your best practices and to engage with colleagues to Grow, Connect, and Lead for student success.  

 

Conference Tracks

Grow
This track includes topics such as innovative initiatives, the future of our field, lifelong learning, professional development, adult basic skills transitions, assessment, course success, completion of educational goals, and transfer. 

Connect
This track includes topics such as belonging, equity, inclusion, justice, resilience, trauma-informed practices, student engagement & campus connections, internal and external partnership programs, basic needs insecurity, wellness, and student support services.   

Lead
This track includes topics such as collaboration, partnerships, policy-making, activism, mentorship, strategic planning, learning theories, and teaching pedagogy that supports student success; curricular alignment and academic pathways; leading transformational change and advising & integrated student supports reform.

Successful proposals will include actionable takeaways, clear goals, and objectives, diversity of viewpoints, innovative approaches, and formats that create collaborative and engaging learning experiences and environments. 

Deadline: Submit your proposal by December 4, 2022 @ 11:59 pm. 

Selected presenters will receive a $50 discount on the conference registration fee.
