Public Sector Employee Training

The Public Sector Partners Employee Training Program was created for public sector employees by human resources representatives in collaboration with Central Oregon Community College’s Center for Business.
Public sector agencies include local and regional governments, special districts (such as irrigation, parks, and libraries), intergovernmental councils, public safety organizations, tribal governments, and nonprofits providing essential public services.
All participating organizations are committed to providing learning opportunities for their employees and welcome your participation in courses focusing on building professional, leadership and technology skills. Please follow the procedures required by your specific organization for approval to attend any of these courses. Have fun learning with your colleagues from public sector organizations in Central Oregon!
Public Sector partners can provide open-enrollment opportunities for their employees. These sessions are also open to private sector and individuals wishing to upskill or gain additional professional development on their own.
Approved sessions are listed below by organization. Please review the registration process, choose your class and email centerforbusiness@cocc.edu to complete the registration process.
Public Sector partners may also choose to create a customized training to create a cohort of public employees to join in the same training, without additional private or individual attendees. Click here to view customized training opportunities by topic.
All services to public sector are invoiced directly to the organizations quarterly, unless other arrangements are made.

How to register
- View sessions approved by your employer by clicking the "+" next to your organization's name to expand the list.
- Click the link to see dates/times available for each session.
- DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REGISTER ONLINE OR ADD TO CART. THIS WILL RESULT IN PAYMENT BEING DUE AT THE TIME OF CHECKOUT.
- Email centerforbusiness@cocc.edu from your email associated with your employer. Copy your supervisor and/or human
resource representative on the email request. Email must include:
- First and Last Name
- Date of Birth (protected by FERPA)
- Employer email address
- Phone number
- Mailing Address
- Desired Courses
- COCC will register you and send a confirmation of your registration to your work email address.
