Agency Access Pass Pilot Program FAQ

• Who can join?
  Public agencies in the COCC district: cities, counties, special districts, intergovernmental councils, public safety, tribal governments, and nonprofits that provide public services.
• How can I view available courses?
  Download or view the Fall 2025 Agency Access Pass Catalog. Agencies also receive the catalog, price list, and registration template automatically once they complete the intake and billing process.

• What are the steps to get my team registered?

  • Complete the Agency Intake form (to confirm eligibility and establish contacts).
  • After approval we'll follow up with intake forms, including billing agreement and registrations.
  • Email you’re the registration form to publicsectorce@cocc.edu before each course’s registration deadline
  • We process in 1-2 business days and email confirmations to each registered participant.
• What does the registration deadline mean?
  • It’s the last day to sign up so we can confirm the class and order materials. After the deadline, your agency is billed the full seat cost. Late registrations may be accepted if space and materials allow. Substitutions may be approved when a participant can’t attend.
• Why do you ask for my date of birth (DOB)?
  • Oregon asks colleges to report basic enrollment data. The Date of Birth serves as a unique ID so we match the right record (helpful when people share names). We keep your record in COCC’s secure enrollment system. We may share attendance with your employer for billing. We do not share grades or performance without your OK.
• When are we billed, and who pays?
  We invoice in December for seats used during the Fall 2025 pilot (Aug–Dec). Payment is due in 30 days. Your employer pays; employees follow your agency’s approval steps register for a class
• Where are classes held? Do you offer Zoom?
  Most are at the COCC Bend Campus (Cascades Hall or Barber Library). Some are virtual via Zoom.

• Who are the trainers and how do you ensure quality?

  Courses are led by experienced facilitators with strong credentials. The catalog includes instructor spotlights. This program also reflects 10 years of public sector training with committed partner agencies.

• How long do participants have to finish online self-paced classes?
  

  • You get 90 days of access after you register, even if you register in December. Self-paced courses are billed at the list price.

• Can we schedule customized training just for our team?

  Yes. We can schedule many topics just for your agency. Email or call for details.
