What does placing in Level 16 mean?
If you are on the Quantitative Reasoning path, success in MTH 105Z is more likely if you have strong skills in the following topics before taking the course.
- using fractions, percents, ratios and decimals in an applied setting
- developing rationale for and utilizing unit arithmetic, including dimensional analysis, in context
- using order of operations, including with signed numbers
- recognizing the need for and applying formulas and mathematical models when appropriate
