Examity Remote Process
The ACCUPLACER remote skills-based writing test uses a computer-based format and is used as an additional tool by COCC to determine your writing placement. The ACCUPLACER exam is untimed and provides immediate placement.
Guidelines:
- In order to be eligible to take the ACCUPLACER skills-based writing test, you must be a currently admitted COCC student with a valid COCC log in. Please contact Admissions and Records at 541-383-7200 if you are not a currently admitted student.
- Before taking the ACCUPLACER exam, you must first take our Directed Self-Placement (DSP)*. If the DSP is unable to determine your placement, you will be directed to take the ACCUPLACER exam.
