Academic advising is a critical component of your college experience. At COCC, our advisors are dedicated to helping you achieve your educational goals by providing personalized guidance throughout your academic journey. Whether you need help understanding degree requirements, exploring career connections or navigating college policies and procedures, we're here to support your success. 

Academic advising is available in person, on Zoom or by phone—so you can choose the option that works best for you.

How Advising Supports Your Success

Each Education Pathway has a dedicated advising team to support you. Based on your degree or certificate, you'll be assigned a Faculty Advisor during the second week of your first term. You'll also have access to an Education Pathway and Career Advisor to help you stay on track and plan for your future.

  • Login to your Bobcat Web Account
  • Select 'Academic Records'
  • Select 'Academic Profile'
  • Click on your Advisor's name.
