Early Childhood Education Team pulls off an incredible conference....AGAIN!

Although, the ECE faculty are incredibly humble and are quick to shift credit from themselves to acknowledge the team effort and collaboration cross campus that goes into making the COC-OAEYC conference happen—however, it is important to acknowledge their equally hardworking effort, enthusiasm and organization skills to help coordinate such and event. Great job to our ECE group and everyone on campus involved to make it happen smoothly.

"This year's conference brought over 250 attendees to campus. Conference attendees and presenters included students and faculty from COCC, OSU, and SOU; early learning professionals in pediatrics, speech and language development, psychiatry, early intervention, special education, and mental health. We had representatives from the Oregon Health Authority, Better Together, Upper Deschutes Watershed Council, Boys and Girls Club, Central Oregon Early Learning Hub, Western Oregon TRI, NeighborImpact Child Care Resources and Head Start, Deschutes County Public Library, and the Oregon Center for Career Development. Our higher education partners included Southern Oregon University, University of Oregon, OSU-Cascades, and George Fox University. School districts in attendance included Bend LaPine, Redmond, and David Douglas."
