Amy Howell awarded Faculty Achievement Award
Amy Howell, Professor of Early Childhood Education, is the recipient of the 2015 Faculty
Achievement Award. She was recognized for her impact on student learning through her
innovation, inspiration, enthusiasm, collaboration, and imagination. She is a leader
in diversity on campus and in her professional field and has been instrumental in
securing grants that promote campus-community connections, including $150,000 for
a Partners in Practice grant. She brings a professional conference with nationally-renowned
speakers to campus annually and created Paw Prints, a COCC and ASCOCC-supported program
that puts together events for student-parents and their children.
