RN Program
COCC's Nursing program provides a career ladder with exit points at the Practical Nurse (PN) and Registered Nurse (RN) levels. All students, regardless of desired exit point, complete the required prerequisite courses, then apply Spring term, and if accepted, enter the Nursing program together Fall term. Admission is competitive. Nursing Program Information sessions are held multiple times each year to explain minimum qualifications, selection criteria, and general information about the COCC nursing program. Attending a Nursing Program Information session is the first step for those interested in the Nursing program. Information on the program requirements, prerequisite courses, application and selection process is available in the Selection Process Handbook - see Important Links.
