COCC Receives 2023 Partnership Award from Central Oregon Builders Association

Central Oregon Community College was awarded the 2023 "COBA Excellence Award for Nonprofit
Partner of the Year" by the Central Oregon Builders Association, an award that recognizes
the college's vital role in construction workforce development. Winners are nominated
and voted on by fellow COBA members.
COCC's vice president of academic affairs Annemarie Hamlin and director of the college's
Center for Business, Industry, and Professional Development John Graham were in attendance
at the Jan. 18 event to accept the award.
The Central Oregon Builders Association is a 780-member nonprofit trade association.
The mission of COBA is to represent the building industry before government and the
community, to promote high ethical standards within the building industry, to provide
service to its membership and to defend the opportunities of home ownership for all.
