Formation

The Learning Outcomes/Assessment Committee at COCC was proposed during the process resulting in the Academic Master Plan: Building on Excellence 2015-2018, specifically in support of Priority C: Review and improve programs and processes. The intention was to create a faculty committee reporting to Academic Affairs to oversee and support the work of instructional assessment.

LOA was approved by Academic Affairs and President Metcalf in May, 2016.
