Accommodated Testing Center

Spring Term 2025 Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Branch Campuses: By appointment only.
During inclement weather the Testing Center may need to close without notice. Call the COCC Alert phone recording (541-383-7777) before driving in to campus. During closures, you may log into your Disability Services portal and reschedule your exam, or call (541-383-7253) and leave a message.

Exam Scheduling Policy
- Students must be approved for accommodations prior to scheduling.
- Exams must be scheduled 7 days in advance to receive all approved accommodations.
- Exams scheduled less than 7 days in advance may or may not have all accommodations met.
- Picture ID is required during check-in for all testing.
- All exam materials are securely held for one academic year.
- After one year, all exam materials are securely destroyed.
Items Allowed in the Testing Room
- Photo ID
- Scratch paper provided by the Testing Center at the time of testing. (Scratch paper is turned in to the instructor with the rest of the test materials.)
The following items are NOT allowed in the COCC Testing Rooms unless accommodated:
- Listening devices including, but not limited to; cellular phones/pagers, beepers, walkie-talkies, PDAs, or wireless communicating devices (e.g., smartphones, tablets, MP3 players).
- Any device capable of recording audio, photographic, or video content, or capable of viewing or playing back content, through means such as digital cameras or video cameras.
- Food, or beverages (including water, coffee and chewing gum).
- Hats (unless worn as a religious requirement).
- Watches (any type).
- Dictionaries, books, pamphlets, reference materials.
- Papers of any kind (except for scratch paper which will be provided).
- Protractors, compasses, or rulers.
- Copying devices.
- Transmission or receiving devices.
- Non-medical electronic devices (laptop computers, digital assistants).
- Flash/thumb drives or any other portable electronic storage.
- Student-provided keyboards.
- Any other unauthorized testing aids.
- Backpacks, fanny packs, briefcases, bags, purses, wallets, outdoor wear, and any other personal items should be placed in a locker outside of the testing room.
- If lockers are full, then personal items can be taken to students car or left behind the testing proctors counter.
